STUNNING MOUNTAIN-TOP FAMILY RETREAT

5 of 5
Our family group of 14 adults and two little ones had the most relaxing and fun vacation at this architectural marvel. Every aspect of this modern adaptation of a castle is custom and frames the breathtaking mountain views. The huge yet warm rooms provided plenty of space for everyone to gather and also to have privacy. The peace in the midst of 300 acres on top of a mountain was palpable--there is total silence. Our large contingent of 20-something cousins had a ball playing foosball inside, and wiffle ball, frisbee, etc. on the huge flat lawn outside. We also rented a kayak and canoe, delivered to the property, which was fun for everyone. In short, this is the dream country retreat and we would happily return.

WONDERFUL LAKESIDE RETREAT!

5 of 5
First of all, the owner was incredibly responsive and attentive. But it doesn't end there... We traveled with 6 people and 2 big dogs and there was plenty of space. The kitchen was recently renovated and the two full bathrooms made mornings easy. The lake itself was serene and quiet. Perfect for swimming, floating, and kayaking. The expansive lawn was great for games and the fire pit got a s'more making work out and didn't disappoint. Overall, exactly what the doctor ordered to combat daily living stress. The only small downside was the major road across the lake, but this drawback also came with a big bonus of proximity to town and maple creamies just a swim away.

SNUG, SERENE AND WONDERFUL

5 of 5
This is a very special place. The house is cosy and really comfortable, with great window seats for lake-watching in any weather. Lake Ninevah is magnificent. The deck and dock are well set up for keeping kids safe. And the whole place feels, and is, embedded in the wilderness. It is a wonderful, wonderful spot that we hope to return to.
