Cozy, Delightful - Great country retreat!

5 of 5
We had such a GREAT ski vacation. Felt like part of the family. Condo was fully stocked with everything we needed. Kitchen was spacious and clean, well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Fireplace was amazing and cozy! Great communication and instructions for everything you need to know. The entry hall was perfect for boots, jackets, gloves, all of our ski supplies AND there is a large closet for the skis and snowboards. The shuttle to the mountain is much BETTER than I expected. (I thought it takes you to the parking lot of the base) The shuttle takes you to the mountain where you literally ski down. The new HEATED and COVERED sunburst six lift is easy to ski to and the best thing going on a cold Vermont day. The mountain itself was such a pleasure. No long lines, big open trails, and family friendly to all of our abilities. The other base lodge we went to was the Jackson Gore side and we loved those runs as well. We had a truly incredible and memorable vacation.

FUN FOR FAMILY, SKIING, SKATING AND FIREWORKS

4 of 5
We stayed at this house in Belmont after Christmas and through New Years day 2015. Great access to Okemo skiing about 12 minutes away. Killington was about 45 minutes away. The pond/lake behind the house was glass flat frozen solid, so we brought our skates and were able to ice skate most days. A bonus was New Year's eve at 9pm, fireworks could be seen from the back deck, over the pond. Wood stove gave it comfy feel. Kids loved playing ping pong and watching DVD's at night. Overall we had a wonderful time. Thanks so much.

Great location, price for Okemo ski house

4 of 5
This is a charming older house that is close to Okemo (about 12 minutes). If you are looking for high end amenities this is not your place. But if you are looking for a good house for 1-2 families to share while skiing and not break the bank, it is perfect. We stayed 4 nights and loved it. We skied, visited Long Trail brewery and the Vermont Country Store, played board games and did puzzles. The general store has great sandwiches, beer, and some groceries.
