Best Ludlow Farmhouse - GREAT Place for a Retreat

          5 of 5
Cathy and Tim did everything to make our stay enjoyable. I hold weekend retreats for my company, Got Clicks, and it's the perfect setting for an intimate gathering. Mixing business brainstorming with fun on the lake literally steps from the house, we had plenty of room to work on internet marketing ideas and enjoying the Vermont Country Store and Weston Playhouse literally 20 minutes away. The Okemo Alpine Slide is only a couple of miles up the road and wrapping everything up at Harry's Restaurant was a definite treat. Great location - close to everything. This classic Vermont farmhouse has all the warmth of Grandma's house right down to the tire swing in the front yard. Highly recommend this home.

We loved the country charm and beautiful location.

What a gem in the woods. Located at the far end of Lake Rescue in a small cove, the space was perfect for our needs. Rustic and very clean with all the emenities the five of us needed. From daily water skiing (off our own private dock), canoeing, kayaking, swimming and yes, swinging off the nearby island rope, it was a blast. Nightly grilling and relaxing on the deck was tasty & relaxing. Day trips into the town of Ludlow, up the road to Killington, Woodstock, Quechee (sp.) Gorge, driving through the parks or seeing cheese made at Crowley cheese factory made each day memorable. We will definately be back to our new temporary home away from home.
