We were so happy to find this beautiful home on the lakefront was just as promised, and the owners were great to interact with. The property was clean and well-maintained. Definitely recommend. Would be ideal for two families -- already planning to return with my brother and family sometime to share the house and the area with them.

We had a wonderful ski weekend at the cottage. The pictures really do not do this place justice! It was beautiful and well stocked with everything you could need. Colleen was easy to contact and very helpful! It's prefect for a ski trip, we managed to get time in at both Stowe and Jay Peak! Our only problem was finding the place. There is no sign or address label on the driveway so it was hard to find after 10" of snow fell. Colleen does give great directions though, so make sure you follow those rather then trying to wing it like we did! All in all it was a wonderful weekend and I'd 100% recommend this cottage. We are even thinking of taking a trip back in the summer!

We have spent the last three summers at this charming cottage on Lake Eden. Each year we think we'd like to explore a new place, but then always come back here because you just can't beat perfect! This is an adorable cottage directly on a picturesque lake. The house is always very clean upon our arrival and stocked with all the essentials. The owner take impeccable care of the property and is just a phone call away should you need anything. The setting is private and the lake is perfect for all your outdoor activities from swimming, fishing and kayaking. My favorite part is going for a sunrise paddle slicing through the morning mist. There's plenty of wildlife to observe - from resident Loons to Great Blue Herons to a variety of Ducks. And if you're lucky you might see a bear! The cottage is perfectly tucked away from any tourist crowds, but it's an easy ride into Stowe for shopping and yummy local treats!
