Beautiful winter weekend getaway!!!

5 of 5
I had the great pleasure of staying in this beautiful house from January 16 through January 19 with 12 of my friends. We are all between the ages of 27 and 30 and this was the perfect winter weekend getaway! Let me start by saying that when we drove up to the snow covered house we immediately were in awe with how gorgeous and secluded it was. Stepping inside, we were even more blown away by the vast amount of space! The first floor has a huge game room (with a dance stage...that's right...a stage to dance on), a pool table, a foosball table and a bar. The main floor has a beautiful living room complete with comfortable furniture and so much space for all of us! We even got to enjoy the Patriots beat the Colts in the AFC Championship game :) There is a spacious bedroom on the first floor as well, along with a dining area, a kitchen and a living room. On the third floor, there are even more bedrooms...and all of a great size. We even had complete access to the washer and dryer on the floor (which came in handy to wash everyone's towels throughout the weekend). There is also a lofted area above the third floor with additional beds and sleeping space. Again...I can't stress enough how much space there was for all of us...we were more than impressed. One thing that was a bummer was that the "master bedroom" didn't have complete privacy, as the people staying in the lofted area can see down into the bedroom. That said, however, I know that the owners are currently renovating that room area. The hot tub off the kitchen is FANTASTIC. What is a better way of spending an evening in the snow than in a hot tub...while the snow is falling from the sky? Amazing. Quiet. Lovely. I can't stress enough how much space this place had for all of us...it was perfect. We did go skiing one of the days as well. We avoided driving an hour to go to the "popular" ski mountains and drove just 2 miles down the street to Snow Bowl mountain. It was PERFECT! We didn't have to wait in any lines...the conditions were great with mostly powder..and there were so many trails open. The lift tickets and rental prices were at least half the price of some of the major mountains around...it was great. Some of my friends also checked out the local breweries in town...lots of fun things to do! To top it all off...the owners of the house are so sweet and Kris was a pleasure to work with leading up to our stay. We all agree....can't wait to go back next year!!

Great Family Get-together Site !

5 of 5
Myself and 14 other Members of my immediate family spent a very pleasant week here in June. This waterfront lodge has all the modern conveniences you should ever need. It was very clean and spacey while still being homey. The owners were very pleasant and answered any questions that were posed. The view of the lake and the lodges waterfront were spectacular. A perfect place for Families and reunions. Highly recommended.
