Great amenities!

5 of 5
Wow! We were here a year ago and cannot believe all the updates and renovations. The kids enjoyed kayaking and canoeing while the adults were comfy hanging out on porch and deck enjoying the tranquil view. There is plenty to do right at the camp, but we did enjoy taking a day trip to Canada, Burlington and downtown Enosburg for the weekly town band concert. Great place if you just want to get away from city life and recharge. Owners are super friendly and family oriented.

Cottage on lake

4 of 5
The cottage was adorable. Excellent views of lake and islands. Our host was warm and helpful at every opportunity. The location was truly beautiful. Would recommend that u bring a boat or kyack to enjoy the lake. The lake is shallow and does not have a beach. The water is cool and shore is all slate and rock. Not conducive for swimming due to beds of lake plants. Vermont is very buggy in august due to the short growing season. So we had some bug battles like not sitting outside without a good breeze and flying insects being attracted to the cabin lights at night and trying to get in and somewhat successfully. Overall we loved the quiet and the soft roll of the lake waters.

Our favorite week of the year!

5 of 5
I think this is 6 years our large extended family (now ages 1 to 77) has been at the Pines and this year was the best . . . we say that every year, however! We found it clean, well supplied (kitchen utensils, pots and pans, etc., bathrooms with paper and soaps), a new HDTV which was seldom watched but there for Red Sox games. The lawn is terrific for games and for sitting quietly in the early morning and watching the water games during the day. The access to the lake has improved greatly. The house is a great, not enough beds for us all, but the cousins don't mind the trifolds and couches. The large dining room table on the screen porch is so multipurpose . . . we use it for meals, card games, crafts or just a place to sit and yak. The owner is most responsive to our needs and is always available if we need to contact him. All and all, a nice annual vacation venue.
