MEMORABLE VERMONT VACATION!

5 of 5
The property is accurately described, well maintained and stocked with essentials that were much appreciated upon arrival - tp, paper towels, soap, garbage bags... John came over and introduced himself the first day to see if we needed anything and immediately took care of our requested for more lounge chairs. We were able to view every sunrise and sun set (even a double rainbow) out on the lawn. I'm delighted that I selected the Blue Camp to rendezvous with old Vermont buddies during the week of our 35th college reunion. It is just a few minutes drive to downtown Burlington and St. Mike's. Burlington has sunk a ton of money into their bike trail system and we were able to use bikes that came with the rental to ride out to the Causeway one day and into Burlington a few times. We were there the first week of June, so sadly, the water was too cold to use the paddle board or kayaks that were available. I would most definitely recommend this property to a friend and suspect at least one will be in touch for a future visit. Thank you John for the hospitality and don't be surprised if you hear from me again about booking another visit.

COMPACT LAKESIDE CHARM

5 of 5
This little rustic gem, virtually ON the water, provided the two of us with a calming week of swimming (the water was surprisingly warm for June), kayaking, grilling, hiking, painting, Scrabble, and exploring (an exhibit of rare Edward Hopper Vermont watercolors at nearby Middlebury College was a bonus). Friendly neighbors (the owner's parents, no less) supplied simple socializing and homemade pie. The cabin is well-stocked for cooking, game-playing, even TV and DVD gazing on cloudy days, ,and nicely landscaped; however be forewarned that this place is best for a single couple (perhaps with a toddler or two. Highly recommended for a few-frills, meditative getaway.

ADORED OUR STAY! CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN!

5 of 5
This camp is such a jewel. It's so cozy and warm and has everything you could want; the true Vermont camp experience I remembered from my youth and wanted to recreate for my children. We had a fire in the fireplace several nights and BBQ'd outside. The porch is perfect for sleeping or eating. We lazily floated on air mattresses in the lake. Excellent location for access to Burlington or Shelburne. We searched high and low for this experience. This is one of the few camps left that is right on the lake and convenient to everything. Just a jewel! Can't wait to come back.
