Comfortable stay-great location

5 of 5
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. Jen, the owner, was so easy to deal with, the communication was excellent. The condo itself was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. It is in a great location, close to everything! It was just perfect for us. It was truly a home away from home. With the condo being such an affordable option, we won't even consider staying elsewhere next time. We highly suggest a stay here if you will be in the area. We will certainly return again!

Great house!

5 of 5
My kids loved the par 3 hole in the backyard! Pretty house with a great open floor plan. Two adults and two kids only needed the main floor and upstairs bedrooms. There was a total separate apartment in the basement that we didn't need to use. but would be great for two families sharing the rental. The house had everything we needed and the landlord was great. Thanks!

Comfortable home away from home!

5 of 5
This property is just as advertised. The master bedroom occupies the top floor. It's spacious with lots of light - and the bed is truly comfortable. The master bath suite has a steam shower, jacuzzi tub/bath and is large enough for two people. The only down side is that you have to step down into it about 18" and the water pressure is not what we're used to. There is one bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed and two on the lower floor with a variety of bunk beds. Perfect for young or adult children. The kitchen has a gas stove and every type of pot or pan. There are two racks of base spices. The dining area table seats 6 easily. The couches and leather chair in the kitchen are very comfortable while watching TV on the 60" screen. As for attractions in the area, we used this as a home base. Just about everything that we really wanted to do was at least 30-45 minutes away, with the exception of the gondola ride and the Birch Ridge Restaurant. We had no problem with that. One of the highlights of our trip was a private boat tour with Bartlett Forestry. He took us up to the North Hartland dam/lake and we saw a bald eagle, swimming muskrat, cormorants and blue herons. Earlier in the day we went to the VINS nature center, checking out the rehabilitated birds and taking a walk in the woods. We spent a morning shopping in Woodstock, VT and an afternoon at the VT country store. There is a movie theater in Rutland for a rainy day. there is a gorgeous pool in the "commons" area -- one indoor and one outdoors. There is a fitness center with some good cardio and other equipment, but it is not air conditioned although there is a box fan. All in all, we had a wonderful stay in this home and would stay here again!
