PERFECT HOUSE FOR A GROUP

5 of 5
We spent the long holiday weekend at this home and it was perfect. A group of 10 of us were there for a wedding nearby at Riverside Farms and this served as an excellent base to relax, access the wedding events and enjoy the nice Vermont summer. Between all three floors there is tons of sleeping space and the TV worked nicely to watch the world cup. The kitchen is well appointed and even had a number of leftover essentials, like coffee filters, from past users. Takeout food is within a 10 minute drive, as is a grocery store. The grill on the outside deck did nicely for lunches. The outdoor space is special. We went for runs among the hills surrounding the house and enjoyed a campfire on the existing fire pit. We also took our shot at the built in small par 3 golf hole. We brought our own clubs and balls (bring balls you don't mind losing, the pond up front and thick woods behind the green are ball vacuums). I hit a hole in one! John is also a very helpful landlord. Very reasonable about arranging logistics and communicates quickly. He also prepares essential information about the house and area that came in handy. All in all, highly recommended for a large group seeking a spacious, well-appointed, convenient spot to enjoy the Vermont countryside.

EXCELLENT FOR A GOLF GROUP

5 of 5
This property was perfect for our 12 senior golfers trip. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms and space to get away if you wanted. There were plenty of good courses in the area and if you are a skier there are plenty of slopes nearby for a winter visit. We had two cooks in our group and they were very pleased with the kitchen and its amenities. The owner Tesha was very responsive to a minor issue we had. We would definitely return to this property whether for golf in the summer or skiing in the winter.

AMAZING FALL WEEKEND TRIP!

5 of 5
Eight of us gathered together to spend a weekend away, enjoy the fall colors and just plain relax. We picked the perfect place! The owners were easy to contact and extremely helpful with whatever we needed (even recommending places to eat, drink, dance and hang out) and the house itself was great! It's big enough for us all to hang out for the night and has plenty of sleeping room. The hot tub and the wood burning stove were great amenities and we took full advantage of both. This house had easy access to everything we wanted including breakfast, small shops (and a small grocery store), the Long Trail Brewery and best of all it was literally MINUTES from Killington Mountain! A nice hike up the mountain with a short ride back home to relax in the hot tub was a huge highlight of our weekend. We can't wait to go back and experience more of what Vermont has to offer and we've already decided that this will be the place for us. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
