Great Comfortable Large Home-Wonderful Stay

5 of 5
Our group of 18 had a wonderful experience. The house had 8 spacious bedrooms & 6 bathrooms and all was extremely clean- very important to us being clean. There was a beautiful full size Pool Table &rec room-the guys used. Killington Road was a 30 yd. walk & up the road was the 3 main mountains of Killington. We had views of Killington while playing pool. There was plenty of sites to visit and a short walk to local bus transportation--some of us didn't want to drive. It was very convenient to the shops, restaurants Woodstock, Quiche, and Rutland. The owner Noreen was always available for help, information and discounts on activities. We highly recommend to all and will be back next year.

Perfect for two or more families

5 of 5
We were here with two families with young kids for a week. The layout is perfect for two or more families, with separate space (separate floor) for the kids to play Foosball, and watch some TV, while the adults made dinner and enjoyed a nice quite time by the fire. Very nice and clean kitchen, well appointed, and we used it a lot. The whole place was very clean and well maintained. Ample firewood in the garage for easy access. Great layout including a nice boot room next to the garage for managing all the Ski stuff. I especially liked the chest high boot shelf for dealing with the boots without having to bend over! If snow is in the forecast, you will need to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to feel comfortable making it up the driveway, but the plow guy does terrific work. We went to the Woods Spa on a very cold day instead of Skiing, and had the pool to ourselves while some enjoyed a massage. This was a great place and we will definitely plan to come back next year.

Week long vacation in the Carriage House

5 of 5
My husband and I have been coming to the Salt Ash Inn for a few years, but this year we got to experience the Carriage House. Al really cares about the comfort of his guests, and really puts sweet touches in the house to make you feel at home. He is also super helpful in enjoying your stay in the area, by helping you find the best deals for rentals, lift tickets, and restaurants. The Carriage House itself is a really large space where a family of 5 or a bunch of friends can enjoy a great time together. Each room has a cozy fireplace, TV, queen sized beds and private bathrooms. The kitchen was super awesome to have as after a long day, all you want is to make some food and relax by the main fire in the living room and watch a movie. I would highly recommend staying at the Inn!
