This place is great

5 of 5
This home is wonderful. Very unassuming and yet perfect for a week away from it all. The cool lake breezes and night air made this a perfect spot for our week of vacation in early August. Lake St. Catherine is small enough to be comfortable for canoeing and yet large enough to ski and tube. The house has a dock large enough for a pontoon or speed boat. Boats can be rented, gassed or repaired at the marina right on the lake just south of the bridge. The kids had a great time catching pan fish continuously off the dock. I believe they caught the same ones 10 or 20 times with nothing but flies, corn and worms. The adults had a great time watching the sun set from the middle deck and staying warm by the outdoor fire place when the nights got cool. Firewood, local blueberries and winery are all within a couple of minutes drive and the grocery store is just a bit further. The owners and locals were all very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if in the area and would recommend to others.

Wonderful visit

What a neat spot! We were so happy to stay at the Diner! Perfectly located for excursions. Peaceful and quiet. Sharply done, clean, and comfortable. Thank you for accommodating us. We hope to visit again one day!

Great Vacation!

5 of 5
This was the perfect cabin for our family vacation! Drinking our morning coffee watching the lake was so relaxing and eating dinners in the screened in porch while watching the sunset was beautiful! Our 4 year old could play in the lake right in front of the house trying to catch minnows all day and the larger yard was perfect for playing freeze tag and other fun summer games. We rented a pontoon boat right around the corner and spend many fun days fishing, swimming, and tubing in the lake. The owners are wonderful and made you feel right at home!!!
