                    Charming old farm house.

This was our second visit, the 1st being in May of this year. Enjoyed our stay both times. Homeowner is a pleasure to deal with. Rural setting, perfect to relax and not too far from town and amenities. Amazing views of the mountains out back.

                    Great Place!

                    5 of 5
We loved our stay at this vacation rental. Mostly because it was off the grid, in the woods and it truly felt like we were away. We also loved the open concept between the kitchen and living room. The bedrooms were spacious and our two boys loved the game room. Brian, the owner was also nice enough to setup firewood outside for the boys to toast marshmallows, but rained the two nights we were there. This is great place and we look forward to returning again! Thank you Brian for your hospitality!

                    Natural Paradise

                    5 of 5
The photos and description do not do this cabin justice. Every single detail of this beautiful log cabin was perfect. You can tell the owners took great care in making sure that every want and need was met. It was a perfect modern, yet rustic log cabin. The property and equipment were not only clean and well maintained, but immaculate. There were so many small details that made our stay extra special. Don was so polite and patient every step of the way, and answered each question we had for months leading up to our stay. I recommend you take the boats out on beautiful Lake Hortonia, even if you don't like to fish.. it was so much fun to explore. There were life jackets for everyone in a variety of shapes and sizes. There is plenty of cozy seating outside to enjoy the quiet natural beauty of your surroundings.. and make sure to do just that. We spotted so many adorable chipmunks running around gathering acorns, and some beautiful blue dragonflies. There were too many great things about Vermont to list, but I will tell you the kids had a great time at Ben and Jerry's and The Vermont Teddy Bear factory. Every ride we took there was scenic so don't forget to take your camera with you when you go out. You'll want to get some Maple Syrup to take home along with all the wonderful memories you have of your stay in Vermont.
