Gorgeous Home, Beautiful Property

5 of 5
The home is truly incredible. Spacious yet cozy. Extremely well-designed and decorated. It was the perfect place for our large group to hang for the weekend. Super close drive to the ski lodges, bars, etc. What I really can't get over is how cool this house was...most nights were spent with friends on gigantic bean bags in front of one of the several fireplaces, telling stories and drinking wine. There was a large kitchen with everything we needed and more for our ~20 person group dinners. Even though we were a large group, I never felt overcrowded. The attention to detail in the house is seriously impressive...in the "unicorn-themed room," which had 4 bunkbeds, there was even individual reading lamps for each bed. I loved it so I could stay up late reading and not disturb the other people I was sharing my room with. The caretakers of the house were extremely accommodating and came immediately if and when we ever needed something. If you're a couple looking to get away for a romantic weekend or a big group of friends looking to hang and party - this is the place to stay when you want to be in/near Killington! Perfect for all occasions and can't wait to come back in the summer! :)

Okemo Ski Weekend, 3 nights, 2 days, all AWESOME.

5 of 5
The weekend was superb!!! Why was it superb? Let me tell you. 1) The owners were incredibly hospitable and easy to work with. The cabin itself was designed by the owner and you and your party of lodgers will definitely be impressed when you get in through the front door. Plenty of room for people to lounge around int he living and dining rooms, spacious bed rooms with balcony views of the lake, a basement full of things for the kids or party goers and a third floor that looks like a little look out tower, both secluded and cozy. All of our needs to feed our group were there, from plates and cups to ovens and a coffee machine. 2) Bring your GPS because your cell service is shot up there. Internet might be fixed by the time you get up there, but that's honestly a plus in my mind. I wanted to get a group together that was psyched to hang out with eachother and go skiing/snowboarding. Without cell service and internet, the group reverted back from staring at phones all day to actually engaging with one another. Something I haven't seen in a long time. So, let me tell you, no phones on the table, card games and board games were hilariously fun and the team building of trying to navigate with a GPS and maps were... actually fun. One thing I'll note. LISTEN TO THE OWNERS EMAILS. Do not follow the GPS when you get up there on US 7. Mistake we made was relying too much on technology... and then getting our van stuck in snow. Follow your phones/GPS to US 7, then read his emails. Can't emphasize that enough. 3) Only about 40 minutes from the Okemo mountain. The ride wasn't bad, a little treacherous with the roads being so slick and snowy (-7 degrees one night, just take it slow). Overall, easy drive. I'd say, going to the cabin was a little iffy since the roads were tight, but the driveway has more than enough space to spin your car/truck/jeep/van/bus around. Just make sure you're going into the right drive way. Overall analysis: We do ski trips every year (almost) and I've never had such a good experience in a cabin. The rooms weren't weird where they tried to squeeze too many beds in each spot, everything was comfortable and clean. The showers and bathrooms were clean and actually worked. Washing machines and dryers were in service and we actually used them - big plus. When we get to Okemo again, and if we have enough people to stay in this place, I'll definitely be looking up Scott and his family. Cabin = Baller status

Great Place

5 of 5
A bit late since I was there for a golf outing in July but it is a wonderful property with a beautiful view and awesome amenities. Glenn was a super nice guy and if my group hadn't gotten bigger, I would be staying with him this year!
