          Paradise Found!

The Fair Haven Farmhouse is a dream getaway spot for any family or group of friends. I can't say enough about how special this place is, and I'm a bit nervous too about exposing this incredible secret! The house is located on a very quiet country road; we barely saw anyone driving by. This privacy is important, of course, because we were lounging by the in-ground pool all day (and night!). When we weren't in the beautifully maintained pool, we were playing frisbee, soccer, or softball on the property's many green acres. The river is a fun place to splash around as well. We didn't use the paddle boat, but it was in good repair. Inside the house, you'll be thrilled to cook in the enormous kitchen, and a major bonus is how well-supplied it is. Whether you need a blender, griddle, or melon-baller, you'll find it in this kitchen! The rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. What a gorgeous old home! We'll be coming back next year, for sure. THANK YOU, Bryan, for accommodating us (and our dog!) and for sharing your gorgeous family home with us!

A big, beautiful scenic Vermont ski house.

          5 of 5
My husband and I rented this ski house for three nights last weekend. There was fourteen of us including our three kids along with their boy friends, girl friends and college roommates. My sister in-law, brother in-law, mother in-law and their two boys also joined us. We arrived on Thursday night around 7:00 P.M. to snow falling. The house was all lit up including the outside. This was extremely inviting as the home and area we not that familiar to us. The house was immaculate with fresh towels and soap folded on each bed. The bedrooms were all good size. The master bedroom was very big with a picturesque view of the mountains. The kitchen was well equipped with every amenity needed to feed a large crowd. The fireplace was rustic and welcoming after a long day of skiing. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. With the fresh fallen snow, the driveway was constantly being sanded and salted by a professional service. There were two family rooms to watch TV in along with two kitchens. I liked the fact that the fireplace in the living room did not have a TV for conversation purposes. The basement had a ping pong table and a designated area for your skies and equipment. The owners were very accommodating and replied to my e-mails and requests immediately. The owners had everything labeled in the house to educate the renters and familiarize them with the home. The owners replied immediately to my e-mails and telephone calls. I would highly recommend this New England ski house. My husband and I and our gang look forward to coming back next Winter. Great Value! Would definitely rent again

          5 of 5
I rented this house over new years for a group of 15 young adults (ages 25-33) and could not have been happier with my selection, especially for the price. Overview: The house was extremely clean and well maintained. We loved having the spacious kitchen for cooking and group dinners, and the separate living room was great for watching movies. The layout of the house was perfect for a group of this size and never felt too crowded (we spent most nights hanging out at the house). Kelly was incredibly helpful in answering my questions, and made sure that the driveway was plowed each morning (which was great because we got a ton of snow while we were up there) Location: The house is about 15 minutes from Killington mountain, but only 10 from the skyeship gondola. I would definitely recommend starting out at skyeship gondola it is really easy to park and rarely crowded. The house is also located right next to the long trail brewery, which has great food and beer for after skiing! Cons: the only con was that the house only has 2 bathrooms, so if you are with a big group there might be a wait to use the showers, although this is minor considering the quality of the house. Overall I would definitely recommend this house!
