Great house for family get-together

5 of 5
My extended family, 12 adults, helped me celebrate a significant birthday here. We stayed 4 nights. It was perfect for spending time together. We played games in front of the fires, ping pong in the basement, ate meals together at the large, extended table, enjoyed the hot tub in the 6 degrees, snowing, beautiful night sky. The 2 refrigerators were very useful for keeping all our food and beer and wine cold. Everything we needed was in the house, and the kitchen cabinets and drawers were clearly labeled. Please be aware that to get to one bedroom , the one with 2 double beds, requires going through the master bedroom. and the two window beds are in the master bedroom. It was not a problem for us, as we are a close family. And the warnings about the driveway should be heeded - one of our family got stuck at the first curve, but we had plenty of young men to push out the car. All in all, we had a wonderful time at Diane's house, she was wonderful to deal with and very flexible. A great house.

Perfect weekend getaway!

5 of 5
The Farmehouse is the perfect place for a weekend getaway with a large group. Lots of living room space to hang out by the fireplace or pellet stove. The fully equipped kitchen, and huge dining room table were perfect for our homemade dinners with the entire group. The hot tub was heated up and ready to go when we got there on Thursday night! The house is very close to the Killington slopes and short walk from the Long Trail brewery and bar. The house and accommodations could not have been better, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time!

Awesome time at the property

5 of 5
The house is fabulous: extra large and comfortable rooms, beautiful views, enormous kitchen (with every possible gadgets and condiments you need), extremely private and quiet (we saw only horses at the neighboring property). The house is much more than we were expecting from the photos: beautiful and perfectly set up for renters (drawers and closets not crowded with owner's possession, like we have seen before), very spacious and nicely furnished. Mitch was very accommodating and provided outstanding service, pleasure to deal with!. We had a group of 6 adults and a kid and we loved the place so much that we extended our stay! We will definitely be back. This "is" the getaway spot and our destination in Vermont from now on! The house is nice and easy 20 minute drive to Okemo Jackson Gore (and of course to all amenities of Ludlow). However, aside of skiing, all we wanted to do is to enjoy the house.
