Close to Jay Peak

5 of 5
This house was perfect for a long weekend. It is about a 6 minute drive to Jay Peak Tram. It is right off of the access road. Also, it's about a half hour drive to Hannahford (supermarket) and there are other closer options like the Jay Country Store that's a few minutes away in the opposite direction of the mountain. There were 6 of us that went up (and a dog) and it was still pretty comfortable. You can tell that this house is going through some renovations but it does the trick and is extremely convenient! Mike, the property manager, was extremely helpful and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. The kitchen has the basic utensils, there are crock pots, lots of pots and pans but there aren't any spices or anything of that sort so you will have to bring those yourself. The double bed upstairs is not the most comfortable thing but it is doable. Upstairs gets a little colder (but was perfect temperature for us) and the downstairs bedroom gets all the heat (so leave that bedroom door open). There isn't a fireplace hooked up but it looks like they are in the process of hooking one up.

Perfect apartment so close to the mountain!

5 of 5
We couldn't have been happier with these accommodations for our family of four! Not only was the apartment clean and equip with all the amenities from stainless appliances, (great gas stove) washer and dryer, but was only a 1/2 mile to the mountain of Jay Peak. If it was a little warmer outside, we would've loved to have taken advantage of the killer deck out back. I did watch the sunrise from there one morning:) Can't wait to go back!

Small Cabin, Big Property

5 of 5
This cabin was the perfect getaway to soothe my soul. It's just removed enough that you can feel relatively secluded and yet not totally alone. Great for one or two people with a lot of places to check out close by. Listen to the owner's recommendations on places to visit, especially the local butcher's! They aren't wrong about the quality. My stay was perfect and the owner's were ever so caring. They really went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and welcome, and I can't thank them enough for sharing a little patch of their lives for me to settle into. ~Simeon
