Grand, Central, Terrapin Station !!

5 of 5
What a wonderful, wintry weekend shared by (7) at the Terrapin station. It all started with a request from my Dad to rent a beautiful home in Vermont and try snowmobiling. I had experienced Glover, and the VAST trails before, so I knew this was the area to search. Armed with VRBO, the hunt was easy, and finding this spectacular rental home on Daniel's pond, a victory !! The minute you walk in and are greeted with a hand-written note, plus a welcome package, you know you are in good hands. The home is spacious, beautifully decorated, ample storage space, loaded with activities, and just pure cozy! The 3.5 bathrooms, especially the full bathroom in the basement is very convenient for your guests. Access to the VAST trails is easiest over the pond, and take a left by the mobile homes. Parker Pie is minutes away, and you simply must have the Dave's salad, Green Mountain Special pie, and wash it down with a few Hill Farmstead Edward's.. http://parkerpie.com/category/beer-on-tap The homeowners, Sandra and Michael, were so welcoming and helpful with us in planning the trip, and even helping us with parking for trucks, trailers and snowmobiles. I cannot say enough, but I will say, you must experience the magic of the Terrapin Station. Everyone left feeling recharged, satisfied, and wanting to plan a return visit. That's a vacation ! :) Thanks again, Sandra and Michael, and I hope to rally the troops once again soon. Stay well.

Beyond our expectations!!!

5 of 5
Despite my best effort, words will never explain in full the wonderful time my family and I experienced during this New Year's vacation at "A Getaway Cottage". From the very start, I knew it was going to be something special when Kristi first called me to touch basis and go over a few details. It was hard to believe people that sweet and kind still exist in this rapid and impersonal life we are now living. Upon our arrival at the cottage, several surprises awaited us! The bubbly for New Years, the welcome note, chocolate covered strawberries, maple syrup and pancake mix, it was all beyond WOW!!! After settling in, we reviewed the attractions and things to do in the area from a neatly prepared album Kristi and Ed left for us. The cottage itself is immaculate, containing all the comforts of home, and then some! My kids wanted to see snow, and snow they saw! Lots of it! They enjoyed playing on the property grounds and on the frozen pond, something they nor I had ever seen. The beds were all comfortable as was everything inside the cottage. We spent many nights cozying up by the fireplace and reading a book, or watching TV. Everything from the owners, to the cottage, to the overall experience was PHENOMENAL !! This is definitely a place to return to as well as a place to highly recommend to friends and family! Thank you Kristi and Ed for sharing this fabulous place with us!

Comfortable, clean and has described

The cabin was just as the Young's as said it would be and the photo's indicated. Anna and Jeremy were very accommodating to our needs and easy to work with and kept in touch to ensure everything was going well. Great area and we will not hesitate to stay here again next year.
