Lovely inviting getaway retreat in any weather!

5 of 5
Our second annual winter stay at Terrapin Station was as enjoyable as the first, despite subzero tempuratures that kept us indoors during our stay. Can't imagine another spot with more entrancing views, wonderfully appointed rooms and bathrooms, and a warm entertaining kitchen and living spaces that kept our group with kids comfortable and entertained.

Comfortable, clean and has described

4 of 5
The cabin was just as the Young's as said it would be and the photo's indicated. Anna and Jeremy were very accommodating to our needs and easy to work with and kept in touch to ensure everything was going well. Great area and we will not hesitate to stay here again next year.

Our Foliage Get Away in the Northeast Kingdom

5 of 5
My husband and I spent a week at this very nice country home in Barton, for our annual foliage vacation. Gail was very accessible and helpful from the very beginning of our interest in the home. I had several questions, that I needed answered before we could make our decision to rent, and Gail always got back to me very quickly to answer my questions. My husband and I found the house very comfortable and it had everything we needed, plenty of towels, hot water, kitchen accessories, wi fi worked well, all of which I cannot say for some other properties we have rented. Gail was available to us throughout our stay. She also had a personal greeting, on the dry erase board that greeted us, just inside the door, as well as an apple crisp and Vermont cheese, among other goodies, in the refrigerator. I would recommend this property for families, as there is plenty of space for children to play and make noise, as well as just for adults who like to get away from the hustle and bustle and have some quiet. Very nice view of the mountains, also, and very close to I91 to get to other parts of Vermont. A nice grocery store and two restaurants for breakfast/lunch all within a 5 minute drive, also.
