The Time of Our Lives

5 of 5
Our stay here at Curtis Hollow Farm was exquisite. The property boasts 100 acres of rolling fields and Robert Frost woods that climb to a roaring waterfall tucked away in a very special place. My kids and their friends maintained an ongoing doubles tennis tournament. While two teams played a match, the others enjoyed the sandy beach at the swimming pond. We all loved the evening when dark brought the brilliant starry sky and hundreds of fireflies defined the breadth of the fields. We had robust camp fires that crackled and spit sparks at the bare legs gathered around it. The house is gorgeous and vast with a huge living room for big gatherings yet offers discreet privacy anytime if needed. We played golf at Killington, went to Billings Farm, enjoyed antiquing everywhere, shopped and ate at the Simon Pearce Glass Factory, crossed the covered bridges of Woodstock and all and all had the time of our lives.

Great family friendly house!

5 of 5
We just returned from a 3 night stay with 2 families and had a wonderful time! The house is huge and very well set up. One side of the house has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and the other has one loft bedroom and a lower loft sitting room that we used as a bedroom (it has a closing door). The property is very close to the village and has a very large flat back yard - perfect for our toddlers to run around in. The only problem was road noise at night because it is close to the road. Once we hooked up a fan to provide background noise, it was better. Great property and a great stay!

Beyond beautiful!

5 of 5
We loved this home. A perfect place for a family retreat. The home provides every comfort you could imagine. Very spacious with plenty of room for a family of 10. The home was clean and stocked with useful supplies. We used the gas grill, the outdoor fire pit (roasted marshmallows) and sat by the pond listening to bull frogs. It was very difficult to leave this "little bit of heaven on earth" Four days was not enough time for us. We would love to return!
