Great ski weekend retreat

5 of 5
We had a great time in Karen's rental. Karen was very responsive, and the instructions for getting settled in were clear and easy to follow. This condo had an awesome lodge-like atmosphere, with a very warm and cozy feel. We loved the high ceilings in the living room (with the loft overlooking the area), and the fireplace was key. We were here with a group to ski, so the shuttle to Mount Snow (right at the end of the road) was very convenient, especially when parking at the mountain looked like a nightmare. Even better, we were able to use the ski-off private trail home after a long day on the slopes--the trail leads right to the condo (50 foot walk), where we could cozy up to the fire for some apres-ski. Karen even supplied all the logs, which we used a lot of! Finally, the kitchen was fully equipped--we cooked most of our meals, and the kitchen table was big enough to fit everybody. If I had to make one critique, it would be the comfort of some of the mattresses (did not try them all out), but we did not mind. Overall great stay- just what we were looking for for a weekend in the mountains.

Cozy place, close to Mount Snow

5 of 5
Cozy, clean VT condo, close to Mount Snow, Wilmington and other villages. Fireplace is great at night. We were only 3 but 6 could be comfortable. Kids will love the loft. Karen is very accomodating and responsive.

Great Ski Getaway

5 of 5
You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here for your ski vacation (can't comment on other seasons yet). My wife and friends were very pleasantly surprised when I found this rental. We have all had previous experiences with not so great and outdated houses that only provided a place to sleep. This townhouse was very well updated and pleasantly decorated. Well heated, nice fireplace, cable tv with flat screen, wireless internet, and comfortable couch - only thing missing was the dishwasher and personal chef. Location was great with a 5 minute drive to Mount Snow main base lodge if you didn't want to use the Moover shuttle (ski back from Carinthia which we didn't get chance to try). Layout of townhouse was interesting. The entrance/mudroom along with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths are on the bottom level. Kitchen, dining room, and living room on second floor with stairs up to small loft area off the living room (small deck as well). The sleeping layout would probably work best for family or bunch of friends vs romantic getaway - no surprises check pictures. 2nd bedroom has bunk beds and the walk up loft off of living room has day bed and pullout. Master bedroom is nice with queen bed, small tv, and private bath (other bath in hallway). Overall, definitely recommend for your next ski trip. Hope to return for our next ski trip if there are any vacancies left.
