The Point did not disappoint!

4 of 5
Rustic, enchanting and fun - those are the words to describe our vacay @ Barney Point. Like others noted, the house is a bit dated and lacks some modern amenities, but it's really nice otherwise and the owner Tim is easy to work with and permitted us to bring our dog. Best feature is the screened porch and the views. Worst feature is the house is loud (i.e. not many interior walls and no insulation).

Adventurous Lake Getaway

4 of 5
Beautiful view of the cove with access to beach for sunning and swimming. Open fields for dogs to run and a good wiffle ball game. Close to Burlington, shopping, good dining. Always happenings in town to take advantage of;theater, performances, etc. Public beach nearby and ice cream stands. Farm stands open for business, Peaceful sleeping in well furnished rooms; night air invigorating. Everything one needs to cook or grill a meal. Great for families, with or without children.
