Gorgeous property and getaway with family. You must experience the slow paced and peaceful Vermont vacation. Our family treasures each and every moment at this house!

                Atelier Annex

                5 of 5
We were lucky to spend three nights at the Atelier Annex this month and wish we could return on an annual basis! The barn apartment was perfect, and together with the surrounding forests and country roads, we decided to just explore the immediate area and not venture to other Vermont locations. Daily walks and cooking "at home" rather than going out to eat were especially pleasant after the first part of our trip, which included too much driving and changing accommodations each night. Although we had planned to go to the Vermont Country Store, we never made it there--but in retrospect our walk with our host and his dog Rothko in the nearby forest proved to be a much more meaningful experience! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we will be visiting Vermont and Popple Dungeon Road again in the not-too-distant future. This is truly a special place.

My family and I stayed for close to a week. The cottage is comfortable, clean and well maintained. It is easily accessible. The nearest ski slopes, at Magic Mountain are about 15 minutes away, Bromley is another 15 minutes up the road. A great place to stay for a ski vacation. Private, yet close to everything!
