A Beautiful Getaway At A Gorgeous Property

5 of 5
You'll have no regrets about booking this property for whatever your heart desires. I was looking for a few days of relaxation with my husband and lab over the Thanksgiving holiday and got exactly that. However, there is much to see and do from skiing to swimming holes and whatever you can imagine in between for an activity filled getaway. This property serves as a great base to many attractions. The cabin itself is beautiful and full of character. There was no skimping on quality materials when putting this cabin together and one can really appreciate how it fits into its natural surroundings. The owners have thought of everything that make this cabin a destination on its own. They have snowshoes available for borrowing and pieces of hunters orange to put on for outdoor wandering to keep yourself and your canine safe. The hot tub is very clean and the placement of it is so nice and close to the cabin. What a treat. The outdoor grill was great for when we'd filled up on too much turkey and needed steak & burgers! The projection screen - first I'd ever seen, was great! I watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade on it and felt like I was there myself! Also - a great DVD selection if feeling like a movie. There is a perfect handful of quality cutlery and utensils that made preparing and cooking a full Thanksgiving dinner with no lack of sides easy to pull off. The 5 burner stovetop with oven is awesome! If you're considering this property, read the owner Jeff's information that he provided. He really gives a great overall of everything to do with staying at this cabin. You'll love how easy dealing with him and this rental is. Don't hesitate!

Absolutely gorgeous!!!

Well, where to begin.....the house is spectacular. It is also warm, comfortable and welcoming. Plenty of space for everyone, beautifully decorated, clean, clean, clean, everything we could possibly need to cook, stay warm and relax. Now for the really good stuff. Major snowstorm Wednesday prevented one family member (our young niece) and her 5 year old son from making it to the house. A good samaritan took them into his home and she called to let us know what had happened. Unfortunately, it appeared that by then 4-5pm, very few vehicles where able to negotiate the the road so it looked like they were going to have to spend the night there. I called the owners on the off chance that she might know of someone we could call (and offer $$ to) who might be willing (and able) to go and get them and bring them to the house. Well, the owners were so concerned and within 10 minutes, she had contacted a couple of people and left word for them about the problem asking them to call the house. A man who has a cab, said he would run right out after he finished his dinner. Incredibly enough, the intrepid cabbie picked up the kids and brought them "home." In the meantime, another friend of the owners called and said to keep him posted and if our cab rescuer couldn't make it, then he would try. I cannot tell you how much this meant to all of us, not just having her and the boyo with us, but the concern and willingness to go the extra mile made a deep impression on all of us. We will always be grateful to the owners and their wonderful Vermont neighbors for making this such a wonderful and memorable vacation stay. You can't pay for that kind of caring....you can't buy it....we were lucky and we wish them all the best with everything they do!! The Sullivans, The Sandts, The Hubners and The Andreottis.....

Over the Top - Wonderful!

5 of 5
My family and l stayed at this lovely home over a long weekend in May 2014. Besides enjoying this beautiful and spacious home, I was blown away by the high-end level of amenities. For example, there were a surplus of fluffy white bath towels similar to ones that you'd get at a luxury hotel. The kitchen was stocked with fantastic cookware. The oven was a Wolf, the pots and pans were high-end. The point here is that I felt like I was staying at a good friends house rather than a rental property! We were all very comfortable and had an excellent weekend!! Highly recommended!
