A GREAT SKI HOUSE

5 of 5
OUR STAY AT DAVE & SUSIE'S HOUSE WAS A PLEASURE. I CALLED DAVE AND ASKED TO ARRIVE A DAY EARLY DUE TO THE WEATHER I WOULD HAVE TO DRIVE UP IN, HE SAID NO PROBLEM.THE HOUSE IS CLEAN & NEAT WITH EVERYTHING YOU COULD NEED TO ENJOY YOUR STAY.IT WAS A PLEASURE DEALING WITH DAVE, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE. ALSO SKIING IS RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD AND SOME GOOD PLACES TO EAT.THANKYOU DAVE & SUSIE. KEVIN BARRY, MORICHES NY

A great place for our family reunion!

5 of 5
We couldn't have had nicer accommodations for a relaxing get together with our young adult children who gathered from different parts of the country for a week in Vermont. We had plenty of space for the nine of us (and our dog)! The location is quiet and private in a lovely woodsy setting. The living space is very comfortable and casual, yet elegant at the same time. We could eat out on the deck in short sleeves during the day and be cozy around the fireplace in the evening. The kitchen was very well equipped, and there were 2 sizable grocery stores in nearby Manchester, so it was easy to prepare meals. There are lots of restaurants nearby as well. We enjoyed Chauncey's in Arlington, but all the restaurants looked inviting. There are also lots of interesting shops, galleries, and historic spots in the area--way too many to see in a week. Our family also enjoyed boating, fishing, and hiking at nearby Hapgood Pond, just down the road from the house, and at Emerald Lake State Park, which is just north of Manchester. We didn't get a chance to try out the summer recreational options at Bromley ski area, but there was a lot to do there as well. Overall, the location of this house is great because there is plenty to do and see in the area, but you can also just relax and have fun at the house. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the property was well maintained. I highly recommend this rental!

Unbeilevable Home

5 of 5
We stayed in this home during the fall leaf season. This is a most unbelievable home. It has an amazing kitchen, pond and comfortable living room. The master suite is on the other side of the house from the other bedrooms providing privacy. The living room in this house is wonderful with an amazing fireplace.I would want my second home to be just like this home. The house is only 10 minutes from Manchester and minutes to Bromley and Stratton. I highly recommend staying here
