Perfect for a family getaway!

5 of 5
This is a truly Lovely farm house in the heart of Vermont with so much character...the house was immaculate and had everything we needed. We were two families with 5 small children. It was awesome that each couple had a master with a bathroom and there were more than enough bedrooms for the kids to pick from. The town of Barton is quiet and quaint but worked great for us as we skied everyday and put 5 sleepy children to sleep when we got home. Perfect (and affordable) for a multi family ski weekend! Will definitely come back!

Our Foliage Get Away in the Northeast Kingdom

5 of 5
My husband and I spent a week at this very nice country home in Barton, for our annual foliage vacation. Gail was very accessible and helpful from the very beginning of our interest in the home. I had several questions, that I needed answered before we could make our decision to rent, and Gail always got back to me very quickly to answer my questions. My husband and I found the house very comfortable and it had everything we needed, plenty of towels, hot water, kitchen accessories, wi fi worked well, all of which I cannot say for some other properties we have rented. Gail was available to us throughout our stay. She also had a personal greeting, on the dry erase board that greeted us, just inside the door, as well as an apple crisp and Vermont cheese, among other goodies, in the refrigerator. I would recommend this property for families, as there is plenty of space for children to play and make noise, as well as just for adults who like to get away from the hustle and bustle and have some quiet. Very nice view of the mountains, also, and very close to I91 to get to other parts of Vermont. A nice grocery store and two restaurants for breakfast/lunch all within a 5 minute drive, also.
