Amazing Stay!

5 of 5
I recently stayed here with 8 others & we had the best time! Its location is ideal, as it is walking distance to the slopes, as well as Thunder Mountain Snowmobiles. We took advantage of both attractions and really had a blast. Beware though that the cabin is so cozy that you may find it difficult to want to leave! Ha! For the most part, the cabin itself was very well equipped. There were several bottles of ketchup and mustard left in the cabin, so save yourself the trouble of purchasing and packing your own! There is also a coffee machine, with some coffee and hot chocolate provided. The only thing I was disappointed in was the lack of pots/pans. Although the cabin sleeps 10 people, the kitchen is not equipped with enough pots and pans to cook a meal big enough to feed 10 people! I had to keep washing the two pots to reuse them to make other items. Two tips for younger lodgers like us/groups of friends rather than couples: to reiterate the cabin's description, although the cabin can comfortably sleep 10, there are only 5 beds and 1 pull out couch, so make sure everyone in your party is willing to share beds! I also recommend bringing a bottle of lighter fluid and a lighter (or matches) to help get the fire going! Unfortunately the lighter they provided was almost out of fluid. Ultimately, we had an amazing time and will definitely be returning! I would 110% recommend!

So glad we found Towerhouse!

5 of 5
I assumed we were in for a unique experience after discovering Towerhouse online, our goal was to be close to Park City and skiing but not within a "resort" environment as we'd spent a ton of time in the area in previous years. The location sounded intriguing and perhaps risky, but it turned out to be absolutely perfect. Our arrival was timed to appreciate the unique assets of this location, including incredible snow overwhelming a pathway up that could be daunting for those not familiar with the area, but easy to navigate based on Marty's instructions and the powers of gps. The snow-load added to the overwhelmingly beautiful location and experience: we were trechnically snowed in the first two days as over a foot of new snow came down, circumstances we welcomed as the site really could not have been more ideal to enjoy. We have a 7-year old son who loved the situation as well, we played outside every day with lots of terrain to explore. The home itself is very comfortable and genuine with a contemporary mindframe and design, the vertical nature of the orientation making for spectacular views on both the second and third floor. Though there is no fireplace, the floors were heated and we always felt comfortable, even when temps outside were sub-zero on a few days. We had everything we needed within for both great meals and comfort. Once the weather cleared a bit we found the roads were well plowed and access to Park City for additional provisions was quick and easy. We would definitely go back anytime of the year, but if during the winter next time I would bring cross country skis instead of downhill, the natural setting of the site is not something anyone but those who have already experienced it coud imagine. It’s a winter paradise for quiet contemplation, outdoor wandering on snow-shoes, x-country skis or snow-mobile. And next time I’m likely to bring 5 days of food and drink instead of just 3 so that we’d not have to leave for town at all. Marty was very helpful as to our arrival and additional needs while staying there, we would absolutely recommend the home for anyone that's looking for an affordable and unique getaway in the area.

Magical place in the snow

5 of 5
This was the dream location for our first white Christmas as a family. Thanks so much to Traci for coordinating all of our needs (even adding a crock pot and waffle maker to the kitchen goodies) ! This house was perfect for our group of 10- Amazing game room with huge round table, Cozy fireplaces in dining and family rooms, plenty of firewood, kitchen with double ovens, dishwasher, second family gathering area with large t.v.! It was awesome! One of my very favorite things was watching the constant parade of wild turkeys walking up and down the mountain side each day-- strutting their stuff and calling to one another. What a delightful location!
