Westgate Resort is wonderful! We enjoyed it all!

5 of 5
The description was accurate, but it was so much more. The place is beautiful, and we enjoyed the many amenities! Drafts restaurant was a favorite-try the "Slope" pizza and the grapefruit beer! The spa was average, but we had nice facials. It was way overpriced, and although it wasn't busy, the help acted put out when the coffee pot didn't work. They placed a crazy loud and too hot space heater in the lounge, and it didn't feel like a very expensive spa should feel. Wouldn't recommend going there. Be sure to get the owners key because you get a discount when renting from the owner. It's 10% off everything! Their marketplace is really good. The wine was too pricey. Go to the shopping center where Smith's is, near 224 to get your alcohol. There is a great store there. I loved the shopping there, and the outlet mall was great too. We loved Park City too. It was quaint and quirky. I experienced altitude sickness there, but felt better after taking ibuprofen every day. It makes you feel like you have the flu. Yuck. We also loved going to the Olympic Village to see the ski jumps and luge runs. We did a $10 tour and it was hosted by a silver medalist ski jumper! He was great. That was well worth it. I would recommend this unit, and we'll use it again too. We came to visit our daughter and son-in-law, who live in SLC, and it took about 30 minutes to drive there. Be sure to check out downtown Salt Lake, it is a wonderful place! We also went to see the SLC Bees play baseball, and Real Salt Lake play soccer! That was fun too. Tailgate before the soccer game in the lot. Obviously we had a wonderful time. There snow was gone, but that didn't matter. It's a beautiful place to visit. Go!!!
