Spectacular!!

5 of 5
This was our second visit to this property. Moab is an amazing locale for lovers of redrock....totally amazing encounters at Arches, Canyon Lands, the Lasal Mountains and throughout the area. This home, which is perfectly located in the foothills of the Lasals, adds an true western experience to the redrock country. The home is hand crafted from beautiful local woods and rock, and is situated overlooking the a lovely valley and the Lasals beyond. It offers a large eating and social area on the main floor with views from three sides, a very generous master bedroom, again with endless views, a large bathroom and an office/bedroom. The floor below adds more sleeping space plus a huge family room and recreation area. Really, the house just keeps on going. It is totally comfortable, well outfitted, and makes for easy and relaxing accommodation after a long day exploring the surrounding country. There is nothing like it or equal to it in the Moab area. The only problem is that its so comfortable its hard to put on the hiking boots in the morning and actually walk out the door. A super home...

Comfortable, clean, quiet

5 of 5
My wife and I spent nearly five weeks at Sunset View, taking the opportunity to explore the stunning land around Moab. We found the unit well maintained and cared for, clean and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked with quality pots and pans, dishes and utensils. The furniture was comfortable and we loved the bed - just our type and very restful after long hikes. The few "settling in" questions we had were promptly answered by Colleen; we appreciated her responsiveness. Not only do I highly recommend Sunset View...I can't wait to get back there myself.

Pre-Christmas family gathering

5 of 5
We were blessed to gather our 3 children and their families together the week before Christmas Day this year. This was the perfect place to meet up from Washington, Idaho, Utah and Texas. The house was perfect for us with lots of room for everyone and very well stocked. We were able to bring our pets and that was a huge plus. We read reviews about how dusty the house was but we have kids that live in El Paso, Texas with similar dust storms and red sand and it's impossible to keep it out of the house. Any question or concerns we had were responded to promptly. Best rental experience ever!
