A great little place to spend a few days

5 of 5
My Brother and I had a really nice stay here. We came to the area to mountain bike and see Zion NP. Communication and information from the owners was very prompt and spot on. The first day we rode right from the front door, under I-15, and hit a fun network of easy trails. This was a perfect introduction to the terrain and area especially for my brother who does not ride that much. We also hiked up the creek through a cool canyon near the Red Cliffs Campground. In the afternoon we made the 40 minute drive out to Gooseberry Mesa to ride some of the most fun trails on the planet. If you like to mountain bike - Don't miss this area Our second day we drove to Zion NP, about 45 minutes, and spent the day exploring. From both our adventures it was convenient to come through Hurricane and grab dinner on the way home. Soaking in the hot tub that night was a welcome relief after 2 days of hiking and riding. Our third day took us to the bikes once again. There is a short but fun trail we rode a few times right across from Quail Creek State Park. We didn't make it to the JEM trail or others in that area but I estimate it would be only about 25 to 30 minutes away. There is a very friendly and helpful bike shop in Hurricane near the east end of town that can hook you up with maps and any bike parts you might need. All in all this house is a great place to spend a few days. It was nice to have a full kitchen and fridge full of cold beers to come home to. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. There is only parking for 2 cars right out front, which was not an issue for us, but could be if you had more people coming from other areas. The only thing we were not pleased with was the dining options in nearby Hurricane. Not that the food was bad but what was available was not all that exciting. I think If I were to stay here again I would stop at a grocery store, like a Trader Joe's, and pick up a bunch of their pre-made meals to cook once back at the house. We had a really nice time, slept very well, and were able to unwind. I wouldn't be surprised if I book another stay in the near future! One thing we felt was unfortunate was that the dining options in Hurricane were not that impressive. I think if I was going to stay here again
