A total of 15 of us (four families) shared this house in February for our annual ski trip. Snowbasin is about 20 minutes from the house, and Wolf Creek (small, but the kids liked it for night skiing) is even closer. We did not make it to Powder Mountain during the week we were there.
There are so many places to "be" in this house; there are 3 large TV areas, including a huge media room on the lower level. The kids, all teen boys, spent most of their time on the lower level, either in the media room or playing pool or ping pong. There are 2 large bedrooms on the lower level with private, but not en suite, bathrooms.
Most of the adults spent evenings together on the main level preparing meals and cheering on the Olympic athletes. The couch and chairs on the main level are very comfortable, and the TV can be seen from the dining table as well. The kitchen was very well-stocked with everything we needed to cook for 15 people. Each of the large bedrooms on the main floor had an en suite bathroom, and there was a powder room on this level, too. The laundry room is immense and there was plenty of room to hang ski jackets and to organize for the next day's skiing.
The boys all slept on the top level where there is a huge bunk room and 2 queen bedrooms. There is a large TV/gathering area, but the kids spent most of their time downstairs.
The house is beautifully decorated and has so many nice touches. The beds were very, very comfortable and cozy and were made up with soft, luxurious linens. The house feels warm and welcoming and we made it our own for the week. There are lovely views of the mountains from every room.
The owner, Debbie, is very responsive and concerned that her guests have a perfectly clean and well-maintained home in which to stay. We would definitely stay here again, and I'd love to see the house and the surrounding area in summer. There are a number of outside seating areas that would be truly spectacular in the summer.
