Recent Duck Creek Village Reviews

Perfect place for family getaway.

5 of 5
Our family decided to get out of the Vegas heat and spend some time in Duck Creek. With a senior father, a sister with a husband and 5 year old daughter, a brother with a wife, and myself, this place provided plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing. When we needed to gather, whether it be in the kitchen, dining room, basement, or around the fire pit there was plenty of space for us to all comfortably spend time together. What was really nice was the number of bathrooms available. This came in handy when getting ready to venture out into the many places of interest in the area. The old man loved all the fishing spots that were reasonably close, niece loved all the animals that roam around the house, and after 5 days and countless gallons of gas, myself and my brother barely covered a fraction of the miles and miles of ohv trails on a dirt bike and atv. Huge plus that you can drive right up to the house on the ohv. House has everything we needed for cooking, laundry, sleeping, plenty of towels, a bbq with propane, firewood, satellite and a decent dvd collection. If you want to dine out, there is a pizza spot in the little village just minutes away that has good deep dish. This is our 7th or 8th time renting a house as a family for an annual vacation and after having stayed all over from Seattle to Miami, I must say that this cabin takes the cake as far as comfort and amenities. Great place, great value. We look forward to returning in the future.

This is Some "Cabin" !!!! WOW!!

5 of 5
We were all smiles as we pulled into the setting where we would spend the next few days! The house and lot are beautiful, immaculately clean and well stocked with most anything we would need, except food or drinks of course. Our days were spent walking in the area and fishing at nearby ponds, creeks and lakes. Our two grandsons, ages 5 and 3 yrs., caught their First Fish ever, as did their mom!! My wife made some nectar for the two hummingbirds entertaining us, and by the next day there were 8-10 more swarming the three feeders on the deck, humming away for us! There were woodpeckers, chipmunks and squirrels to watch during the day while we chilled on the deck. The boys ran and played outside, enjoying exploring the woods and land around the house. After dinner on the deck, our nights were spent around the fire pit, making s'mores and star gazing, hoping to see a shooting star! The days were around 70, with nights in the mid-40's, and we even had one afternoon shower while we were fishing.....something we don't get back home. We highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing getaway. We will be back in the near future, maybe for a longer stay so we can visit the nearby national parks, too.

Lovely place! Perfectly fit our needs

This place was awesome! The only regret that I had was not getting to spend more time there. My family decided to rent this place while we visited Bryce canyon and Zion Park. It took about 1 hr to get to each park. There was plenty of sleeping space and all the amenities one would ever need. Would definitely rent again.
