Great place for ski trip

5 of 5
Perfect location for our annual family ski trip. Our family of five goes to a different skiing location each winter, and this year's trip was SLC. The house worked great with it's location within 30 min of Brighton, Solitude, Snowbird & Alta. We also made the 70 min drive up to Snowbasin. Great value. The rooms are fairly spacious and VERY clean. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, utensils, etc.,but no leftover spices from previous guests ( that clean thing, I guess ) so we had to stick to the basics with cooking. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within a mile or so, whichever is your preference. Multiple ski shops nearby. Neighborhood seems quite safe, and I felt comfortable going out on a morning run. The house is at a somewhat busy intersection, but only a relatively minor issue around rush hour. Easy to find from airport (20 min). The newly installed 47 inch TV was nice to have during football bowl season when chilling out after a day on the slopes.Garage parking and storage space in garage for skis a plus in the winter. Any disappointments? Not really. Would have been nice to have propane for the grill, but probably more important for a summer stay. Best single aspect - The owner! April was very accommodating and helpful. She responded quickly to emails prior to our stay and had someone clean the snow off the driveway and put the trash cans out so we didn't have to worry about it. Will definitely keep it on our radar for our next trip to SLC!

Great location, great condo, would rent again

5 of 5
Great (probably the best) location for getting to the Big and Little Cottonwood Canyon resorts (Brighton, Solitude, Snowbird and Alta), with very convenient access to other resorts and to Salt Lake City’s many restaurants. The condo is very well maintained, very clean, and very nice; a great value, but if you are looking for super luxury you will have to pay a lots more. I would rent it again.

This rental was perfect for our family reunion!

5 of 5
Since there were no reviews on this property, my daughter walked through before we paid the down payment. The owner was very cooperative with letting us see the home and later let us make a small change in our reservation without any charge. E-mails to him were always returned within a few hours. We were very pleased with the size and condition of the home. It was perfect for our needs and exceeded our expectations. The home is equipped with liquid hand soap, soap bars in the showers, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent and dryer sheets, napkins, paper towels, disinfecting wipes, ample toilet paper, 2 irons and ironing board, flour, sugar, pots, pans, etc.. We even found WD-40 in the cupboard to use on a squeaky door. There are over 50 thick towels of different sizes for your use. Since the posting isn't totally clear on the layout of the house, I will clarify. Main level: a large master bedroom with a king size bed, a walk through closet and a private bath with tub and shower, a second small bedroom with 2 twin beds, a third small bedroom with a queen sized bed, a full bath with tub and shower, a livingroom and a kitchen. Lower level: a larger bedroom with a queen sized bed, and another large bedroom with a queen sized bed and a double sized bunk bed with a twin bed on top, a bathroom with a shower stall, a large laundry room, and a very large rec. room that has a twin bed, sectional couch and a pool table in it. The beds were all comfortable and we were able to sleep 13 adults and 3 babies in pack and plays. The garage held 2 cars and 2 more were able to park in the driveway. There is also parking in front of the property on the street- which is moderately busy. I commented to the owner that the downstairs shower door opened with difficulty and the windows needed upkeep. He said that these repairs are on his list for summer repairs. We used the hot tub a few times and enjoyed it. A man came daily to maintain the hot tub which we thought was impressive. It is a nice, safe, area. We felt safe walking or jogging nearby. The 14 of us regularly commented on the fact that the size was perfect for our group. There are 2 tables on the main level that had 6 chairs each. We did a lot of cooking and had no problems. The dishwasher worked well and there were at least 14 plates in the cupboards as well as 30-40 glasses. No cleaning fee but there was an expectation for emptying trash and washing towels. The home is close to 215 and 15. Loved it!
