Perfect retreat!

5 of 5
From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and knew we had chosen the perfect place to "come home to" from our days adventuring in and around Capitol Reef National Park! There were only the 3 of us, and it was way more room than we needed, but it just made us feel more special and spoiled! Oh and we brought our dog who was more than welcome. You will be blown away by the decor and size. It is beautiful and the bathrooms are huge! If you are bringing some kiddos along, there is more than enough room for more than 12 to stay - kids just need to bunk down on mats that are provided. There is a queen bed downstairs, 2 queens upstairs and a king in a separate room upstairs. I'm not sure if the couches fold out, but there are 3 couches that were very comfy. The kitchen is fully stocked and they even had some things I forgot to pick up like some olive oil - don't count on it being there, but if you check before you shop, you may be pleasantly surprised. We ate out a lot, but did have breakfast every morning. For whatever reason, my pancakes were yummier in the barn :0) One night we used the outside grill, too. There is a beautiful pool table and we had a lot of fun teaching our 11 year old to play. While it was cold, and even snowing outside, we were warm and toasty inside. The beds were super comfy and the views from the balcony were amazing! The star gazing opportunities were really something to see. The barn is remote and we loved that sense of privacy. Can't say enough nice things about this amazing place and her fantastic owners. If you are looking to play in and around Capitol Reef National Park, you really should stay here!
