Ideal Home for Our Week In Southern UT

5 of 5
We had a lovely week's stay in Hatch over spring break. The house was just ideal for our family of 5, including 3 teens who appreciated the spacious loft, and the peaceful mornings for a little extra sleep. My husband and I appreciated the well-laid out and stocked kitchen, and very much enjoyed watching the frolicking sheep and sunsets from the kitchen window. The house is about a 30 minute drive from Bryce National Park (we visited 3 times), with the Fairyland Loop being our favorite hike; as well as a lovely hike along the Cassidy Trail in the Red Canyon area; a day exploring the slot canyons near Escalante; and a day visiting Zion. We spent an informative, enjoyable time at the DUP museum with two of it's caretakers/curators, and appreciated the insights into the town's founding, history and people. Leslie was very responsive to our questions about groceries, distances, and several other questions we had along the way. We felt very lucky to have spent time in here!

Outstanding peaceful home. Hostess was outstanding

5 of 5
I contacted Shantel at the time she was about to remove this listing in order to remodel. However, it was a last minute trip to spend time with my kids that I thought I was not going to be able to get. The Mitchell's were so accomodating, I am so extremely grateful. They still removed their listing but delayed their remodel for 2 weeks so I could spend a week there with my children. It was an amazing experience. They were there personally to greet me when I arrived and gave a tour and told me everything I needed to know about the home. They were available to me at an;y time. Shantel even went so far as to make us an arrival relaxation dinner meal at no charge because we were staying more than 5 nights. We were the first ones to benefit from this because she said it was a new amenity she was going to include in the 2015 season. I promised Mitchell's I will stay with their home when I am in the area to see my kids and that's exactly what I plan on doing.

The Lodge that Shines

5 of 5
This illuminating high end lodge-like home is full of warmth and a treat to stay in. Our family of four ( twin teens) had a lovely time exploring both Bryce & Zion canyons all day long. At the end of the day the "lodge " provided the perfect place to made dinner, watch movies and rest up for the next day adventure! Hopefully, the "lodge" will be available for our next trip there.
