Our family of 13 stayed at this property for Thanksgiving week. After flying into Las Vegas, it was a 3 hour drive. As we drove up the mountain road to the house, we were filled with anticipation. We had seen pictures of the house before we left, but the pictures didn't do it justice. We arrived at night and weren't sure of the exact location of the house. After confirming the address, we drove into the driveway and were immediately greeted by Mattie. She was always available to answer questions and give advice, and is a gracious hostess! We were all glad this would be our home away from home for the next 7 days!
The bedrooms are very comfortable, and the bunk room is a great place for teens and young children. The kitchen is well stocked and had plenty of seating for our family of 13. Although we didn’t use the pizza oven, it was an impressive amenity!
The views from the kitchen and great room were amazing, and the sunrise over the mountain was a welcome sight! I awoke early each morning to enjoy coffee and the breathtaking views!
We visited the Grand Canyon, Bryce National Park, and Zion National Park during our stay; all very easy drives from the house. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to visit the parks and then return to such a beautiful home! Driving "home" at the end of each day, we could see the beautiful log cabin home perched on a mountaintop by itself...a truly impressive sight!
The time we spent at the house was relaxing and this home will be remembered by our family as one of the best VRBO homes we have ever stayed in!
There were minor maintenance issues that needed attention. However, I'm sure Mattie has taken care of those issues since our stay.
We definitely hope to return to this perfect home in the mountains…maybe summer next time! Thanks owners for sharing your amazing home!
