We ski so we can enjoy being in the mountains and this cabin delivers. So close to Salt Lake City yet a world away. Stayed 4 nights. We drove to the base of Brighton Ski area as it is a bit too far to walk. Took a risk and got a front wheel drive car but I would heed everyone's advice and get a 4 wheel drive next time, and book early as they sell out quickly in SLC, and then get pretty expensive as well. Mark is very easy to work with. The kitchen was very generously stocked. The place is clean and warm (although the forced air heat is a bit loud when sitting close to it, maybe a different blower would help?). The interior is cozy, cabin style (although the buffalo head over the fire place is an acquired taste), the kitchen up to date and large. Brighton is not the most famous Utah ski area but one of our favorites, plus access to Solitude is a short drive, and more ski areas a bit further. The cabin is located on a very quite, snowy street, under tall pines, and pieces of starry skies.
