Great Weekend

5 of 5
We had a great weekend at this house. There is plenty of space with large patios and a large backyard. Sherin was very helpful in answering questions and they provide everything you need. Definitely recommend for future trips.

Get back to nature!

5 of 5
A wonderful get away! We enjoyed hiking through the property and just being out in the fresh air. The farm house it cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed to kick back and enjoy being together as a family. Quite area that lets you focus on what is important- family and relaxing. We started each day with a hike and then back to the house for breakfast and planning the rest of the day. Nancy and Alan were wonderful- told us about the area and were available to answer questions. Great area. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Mountain View Farm house was a lovely home base.

4 of 5
The house was great. Lots of rooms and bathrooms. The Kitchen was fully equipped and great to have 2 dinning areas to eat in. GREAT house for multiple families (2 probably). It had 3 toilets, 2 bath tubs (one being a 3 person jet tub) and 1 shower. I would say it probably could use another shower downstairs off the room with the queen bed. The laundry room was huge and came in handy to do a quick load of our snotty ski masks! It is about 35 min from both killington and sugarbush so you have options to ski both. The town of Rochester isn't much. They do have wifi which was a blessing because the 80's TV didn't cut it. They did have a few games we played.. Trivial pursuit was a hit w/ the kids. when we didn't ski one day. I would have thought they would put a flat screen TV in the downstairs living room but I guess it's a retreat from the modern world. There are horses and cows next door so watch out for the smells at different times of the day. A great find!
