Great Escape

5 of 5
Our two families had an excellent time on the farm this weekend. It's a great place for kids, and a great place for their parents to totally take their minds off of work for a few days. So much more going on than other mountain cabin rentals I've been to. Rooster the horse was my favorite! And the two owners were really friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

A wonderful experience with family and friends

5 of 5
I cannot say enough positive things about this home and its location! The house was absolutely perfect for my husband, myself and our two children under 2 years old, and the other couple we traveled with and their two young children (ages 5 and 1). We could have fit another couple and their children very comfortably, there was so much room! The house was kept very clean and was well stocked with not only supplies, but a crib, a pack and play and toys and videos for the kids. We loved the layout and it worked so well for us, in that the children had room to run around and play (and sleep) upstairs, while the adults could hang out downstairs. We would have loved another TV downstairs, but we played games and enjoyed each others company nonetheless. The Master bed was so comfortable!! And we loved the spaciousness of the master bathroom and tub for the kids! (My daughter thought it was a swimming pool!) The location was perfect for us as well. It was a mile away from The Equinox, where we enjoyed the best massages and drinks at the bar, while the kids played at the house with their dads! We also had a great time shopping in Manchester, which is right down the road! The Ralph Lauren store had amazing sales! We ventured to Stratton Mountain, which was only a 15-20 minute drive away! The owners were fabulous and so helpful and informative! I cannot wait to return next year for what we hope is our annual Manchester trip!

We loved it ! / Nous avons adoré !

Fielder Farm is in a charming, out-of-the-way and quiet place. The view on the fourth highest summit of Vermont, Camel’s Hump, is fabulous. The shelter, an ox beef red barn has a lot of windows for natural light and is well equipped. Books everywhere, art works and picturesque paintings, a good wood stove with plenty of wood, a kitchen with everything you need, outdoor whirlpool recently installed, a lots of comfortable beds, the cachet brought by the wooden interior and by the architecture of posts and beams : everything is pleasant for the eye, soothing. Finally, once cleared, we even had the chance to play hockey with the nets and the sticks supplied by the hosts. For hockey lovers, what to ask furthermore? Brilliant!
