Wow! What a great stay!

5 of 5
We just returned from out fantastic visit in Paso. We stayed at Karen and Marty's place outside of town. I almost hate to write a great review as I'd like this place to be "our secret"! :). We really enjoyed the setting and the hospitality. It is definitely a great alternative to a hotel! We will definitely be back.

Our stay at Fodderstack Farm

5 of 5
We arrived at Fodderstack Farm in the late afternoon. We were delighted by the accommodations. From the welcoming wreath on the "Barn" door, to a thoughtfully decorated interior, the pleasant introduction continued as we found fresh eggs in the refrigerator, nice linen's throughout and an extremely comfortable bed! The owner's provided helpful information on the area. Things to do, places to go etc. Our privacy was respected, but Renee made sure that we knew she was there if we needed anything. We had our 35lb. dog with us. They put their horse and the 2 donkeys in an enclosed area and let us take our dog to a back pasture where she could safely run free! The sheep and free range chickens were a delight as well!

Beautiful setting, wonderful house

5 of 5
We loved our stay here -- the converted barn is just gorgeous, comfy furnishings, super quiet. The kitchen is indeed rustic, but that is part of the fun -- and encourages you to take a break from cooking elaborate meals. It is very homey, with lots of curios and books, but was also impressively clean when we arrived. We had deer bounding through the yard, tons of birds, rabbits, and you could hear the coyotes howling at night -- fantastic! We'll definitely stay again.
