EXCELLENT BUNGALOW!!

5 of 5
The description was great, but seeing it was to understand that it is hard to describe how wonderful the bungalow, the lands, and the amenities are. The bungalow is a 30-second walk from the lake, which is a breath taking site. The bungalow was clean with all new fixtures, furniture, and facilities. The owners, Keith and Virginia, live next door in their beautiful house, but you would not even know it because you never see them - unless you need them. In which case, they are on it immediately with excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone; to couples, singles, or for a honeymoon getaway site. There are plenty of attractions and great restaurants in the area as well as the beautiful landscapes in this part of the state. Everything that Keith and Virginia state in the ad is true and accurate, even down to the paddleboat and the canoe. And don't miss the wildlife around the bungalow from multiple species of birds to squirrels, chipmunks, herons (saw blue heron feeding on fish one day only 50 yards away in the lake), and a family of raccoons. Marsibilios Trattoria in local town of Mayfield was my favorite restaurant, with the Little Red Inn a close second place. I cannot wait to stay at Butternut Bungalow again - Thx so much Keith and Virginia!

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!

5 of 5
The house is in a central location for visiting Cape Cod. The furthest you have to travel is about an hour. The house itself is great. Really big and has everything you need. The garden is almost the best feature with a bbq, big table and of course the hammock. Besides seeing Cape Cod is was also really nice to spent a day in the garden. There is a really nice bakery close by, icecream in walking distance, supermarket only a minutes drive away. What more can a person want!! The beach, by the way, is within 3 miles of the house, too bad you have to pay a parking free of 15 dollars a day.

A WONDERFUL STAY

5 of 5
The house is spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Livingston was filled with exciting events during our stay that we didn't have to leave town at all. The Base Camp Bungalow is a short walk to the rodeo ground fair ( a must see event), many excellent restaurants and shops on Park & Main Street. I love the local Livingston spirit while staying at this house.
