We had a great stay in Honolulu at this property. Alexei was waiting for us when we arrived (which was a little late, we had rental car delays) with keys and instructions on how to get into the building and condo. It's a perfect size for two people, any more would make the space crowded. The place is super clean (which is the main thing I'm looking for when I stay away from home - I get grossed out easily) and true to the photos posted. We had a some issue getting oriented to our surroundings, especially with parking. Be aware that the property does not include parking, but there are several options available within walking distance, we parked for the week at the Waikiki Banyan for about $80.
If you are going to stay at this property, or anywhere in Waikiki for that matter, over a holiday be aware that parking is going to be nonexistent. We spent Halloween on the island and were not able to park until about midnight, which was exhausting and not at all the fault of the property owners - just a little heads up for future renters.
The building is literally steps from the beach, shopping and dining - we never wanted for entertainment when we just wanted to stay close by. A very nice older gentleman sits at the parking entrance to the building, we assume to make sure those who are not supposed to park there are turned away. We offered him a warm Malasada (from Leonard's Bakery - a must visit) and he was very thankful for the gesture. The area is safe, there are always people making their way to and from the beach, even late at night.
The view from the balcony is beautiful, every morning we stepped out and started our day looking at the surfers on the water. We did have a bit of an internet glitch, but Alexei was swift in providing a solution via text. The internet is sufficient for watching Netflix or checking your email, which is all we needed. The bed was comfy and the fridge was super convenient when we brought back left over food or bottles of water. The cupboards are stocked with dishes and utensils if needed and there is even some bug spray under the sink in the bathroom (we also left some that we didn't want to pack home). The television has local stations and is Netflix, Hulu, etc. equipped if there is nothing on. However, when you're on this island you will not want to be watching television!
Overall our stay was pleasant, we would recommend this property to you if you're looking for a cozy place right in the heart of Waikiki!
