This place was so centrally located we hardly used any transit. Whether you want to see Buckingham Palace, Westminster Cathedral, Big Ben, The London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Parliament, The Abbey… and more, they’re just a short walk away. When we did need transportation, the tube station was just a few blocks from the apartment and the bus was just around the corner. There was a Sainsbury’s Supermarket nearby and lots of restaurants, pubs, bakeries, coffee shops and even fresh vegetable stands and outdoor food and merchandise vendors set up right on the corner square.
As for the apartment itself, it was very nice and clean and included television & games for the children, a washer/dryer, dishwasher, two bathrooms, free WIFI, two very comfortable beds plus a surprisingly comfortable sofa bed, a small outdoor patio and even a bottle of wine and box of chocolates for us on our first night. The kitchen was compact but adequate for cooking when we did eat in and included some staples you don’t think about until you need them when you’re on a trip. My only complaint (which really wasn’t a big problem since we weren’t home much) was that the neighbors upstairs were moving out while we were there and they seemed to have a lot of heavy furniture to haul out at night! I wouldn’t worry though. They should be out by now.
Overall we’d give the place five stars. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay and have told all our friends and family to consider this place when they travel to London.
Thank you for helping to make our London holiday a success.
