My daughter and I spent a week in this wonderful flat and were sad to leave our home away from home. We found the main room well appointed with everything you could possibly need. There are two small grocery stores within a stone’s throw of the front door, so we often made use of the in room kitchen. A few doors down there is a diner that we enjoyed on a number of mornings. I thought I'd mention a couple of things I didn't realize from the pictures. The mirrors you see are huge closets; absolutely fantastic for storing all of our luggage, souvenirs and keeping tidy. The other surprise was the large wall of windows. It was not the iconic London skyline, but we really enjoyed opening the blinds and taking in the view all the same. The neighborhood is far from the tourist crowd but all the sights are still very convenient by bus or tube. The TFL site was very handy for estimating what option to take from our location. To avoid the rush hour crowds, we often left early in the morning and returned late. Being two women out alone, I never felt the least bit unsafe at any time of day. Finally, Doreen is definitely in the right business. She was incredibly accommodating and hospitable throughout our stay and I would stay again if ever I have the chance.
