The plusses: Excellent location, owner was easy to work with and had a very pleasant man meet us at the door. Very close to Euston station, Regent Park, Regent Office Park and easy access to several Underground stops. Good water pressure and the washing machine came in handy although there is only a drying rack which, in London humidity, means it takes awhile to dry. Good Wi-Fi. Good-sized kitchen area and living room. Good hanging space in bdrm closet. Good pub next door, post office about 7 minute walk. The minuses: the bathroom. Fixtures were fine but the wraparound shower doors are a bit claustrophobic when washing. Washing your face in the trough-sink underneath the medicine cabinet entailed sticking your head under the cabinet, washing and hoping you didn't slosh too much on the floor. Bed was described as a UK King but if you are American, think slightly oversized double-bed smaller than a queen. Mattress itself was excellent and bedroom functional although the dresser was filled with blankets so we really didn't unpack. Also had noise issues at night with Euston Road being close by along with hospitals which meant some nights had a lot of loud motorcycles and sirens - chalk that one up to bad luck more than the apartment but if you sleep with windows open, be aware. The carpet could use a good cleaning, a kitchen cabinet door was held on by packing tape and the bdrm door hinge was coming out of the wall so it was tricky to shut. Sofa throw pillows were splitting at the seams. Overall a good experience but the apartment needs some TLC. Owners apparently have several units - hope they are getting ready to work on this one.
