A beautiful modern apartment

5 of 5
It was a lovely apartment, very well equipped and extremely comfortable, it was right in grace bay, only a few minutes walk from both the beach and the resturants. The owners were lovely, very helpful and the curtesy car was a real bonus,we had a great time exploring the island. We would recommend this apartment to anyone, we had a really good holiday. The snorkling was very good, we saw turtles, bat Rays, barracuda even a shark. The food in the resturantes was very expensive but excellent quality. All the people we met were really helpful and friendly,it is a lovely island.

Perfection

5 of 5
I spent my 40th birthday in TCI, in Jim and Bunny's unit, and I can honestly say that I don't think there could possibly have been a better place to celebrate. Where do I start? First, TCI: SO GORGEOUS! The water is...well, perfection. The colors, the sand, the temperature, the gentle surf...no icky critters and totally pristine...I've never experienced anything like it. Get a car and explore the island: Chalk Sound, da Conch Shack, Bugaloos, Malcolm's Beach, North and Middle Caicos--there are so many places to explore and enjoy. Second, the unit: Bunny was so helpful and pleasant to deal with, going out of her way to make everything as convenient as possible. The pictures don't give the unit justice: it's enormous, and bright and airy. It has everything you need, the bed is a little too comfortable (there were mornings I didn't want to get out of bed even though the beach was calling my name!) The location is amazing--all the conveniences of being a part of a resort (lovely pool, work out room, tennis courts, restaurant/bar and the best strip of beach in Grace Bay...towels, umbrellas, the whole nine); without having to be around tons of people. The unit affords a great deal of privacy, and you can walk to all the shops and many of the restaurants. Front desk hooks you up with everything from snorkeling trips to dinner reservations, to taxis. Also, can't leave out Denise, the property manager, who was extremely helpful and responsive. One last thing...if you've never been to TCI, don't be persuaded to stay in other parts of the Island. Although there is beauty everywhere, Grace Bay is definitely where you want to be as a home base. Feel very, very lucky to have picked this place. And kind of jealous of those of you who are reading this, and get to stay here after me!

Long Overdue Review

5 of 5
There were 6 of us that stayed at Blue Villa back in June of this year to celebrate a 40th birthday. The house was close to everything and within walking distance to the pier and the coffee shop but you will need a car to explore what the island really has to offer. It was also less than a 5 minute wok to the beach and some of the best snorkeling on the island. It was like we had our own private oasis! The house was clean and spacious with the exception of the ants in the kitchen area, it just takes a little effort to keep it extra clean by making sure everything is put away. The house is equipped with all the necessary essentials such as plate ware, cookware, all sorts of glassware, beach and bath towels and air-conditioning. The rooms were large and there were two screened in decks. The private pool was a definite plus and was used everyday we were there. Louise was the perfect host and made sure every questions was answered and always responded in a timely manner. She welcomed us with the Turks local brew (which I crave to this day) and always recommend the best places to go. We also really enjoyed our fur-housemate Robinson (the cat) which we renamed shadow. He was the sweetest thing and followed us everywhere, he'd hang with us at the beach, the pool and would wait for us on top of our car every morning. We even ended up picking him up a box of food. I wanted to take him home:-) The trip was absolutly perfect, everyone we met was welcoming and so very friendly! There's no doubt in my mind where I will stay the next time I head to T&C!!
