Perfect!!

5 of 5
Everything was excellent and exactly as advertised. The house is fantastic -- wonderful view, amazing beach right out the door, clean, comfortable, and has everything you need at the house. Jean-Louis arranged groceries and also cooked us a few meals, which were great. He is also very helpful as far as what to do on the island. If you are looking for a relaxed, very quiet vacation on a beautiful beach this is your place!

Great stay

4 of 5
Our stay was great. The house is lovely and the location allows you to see the way the Grace Bay/ Smith's Reef area colors change throughout the day. Most evenings we just leaned on the railing of the pool deck with a frosty beverage and watched the sun go down and the boats come in for the day to Turtle Cove. Spectacular. The house has all the amenities you'd want and is close to some great dining and the beach. You'll want to consider, however, that the air conditioning is only in the bedrooms. Most of the year this is just fine as Provo is temperate and the trade winds usually cool things off. For our trip it was very hot though (95 with the heat index), and the winds were unusually calm, making the kitchen/living area in the house pretty uncomfortable. Just something to consider if you're sensitive to high temperatures and humidity.

Wonderful time-3 generations

5 of 5
We loved our visit to Turks & Caicos. The home was comfy, well-maintained and clean. We really enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the sound to visit the iguana island--we saw at least 15 wild iguanas. We cooked most of the time and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need! It was difficult for my 72 -year -old mother to climb the steps up to the house because they are natural stone and no railing to get you up those last few steps, but once inside she had no need to leave the main level. Tips-go to chinsons to eat-- amazing food. Shop at IGA. Go on Caicos dream tours--conch tour, snorkel, "hunt conch" and they prepare it for you! Snorkel by the bight. We normally spend $200 per week for groceries in the states-we spent closer to $800 on the island, and ate out three times during our one week stay....dining out ran us around $160 with tip for 6 people each meal. I also packed a medium sized hard shelled suitcase with peanut butter, waffle mix, syrup, cereal (which was $10 per box on the island), jelly, Pringles, and other misc dry good foods-no problems with customs. The empty suitcase stored our three conch shells and starfish plus other miscellaneous souvenirs purchased.
