Great Condo!

5 of 5
Great condo and resort. My girlfriend and I just got back last week and enjoyed our stay at your condo in May and had a wonderful time. The unit was well kept, ample space, with all the amenities needed. It looks like the owner updated the furniture. The condo and resort was very relaxing and quiet. The resort was well kept and has plenty of lounge chairs available at the pools and beach. The beach was gorgeous as advertised. Quiet and relaxing. Plenty lounge chairs and umbrellas to use provided by the resort. There is also an activity rental place right next to the resort cafe on the beach for anyone who wants to kayak, paddle board, sailing, etc... We enjoyed walking up and down the beach. We also enjoyed the Ocean Club Cabana Bar & Grille. We ate here about 3 times during the week. The food was good and reasonably price considering the prices elsewhere on the island. And whats not to like about the view while eating there. The view is fantastic. The Ocean Club East if little further out from the town. It's a good mile walk to town but you take a shuttle to Ocean Club West which is right in town to many of the restaurants and shops. We got a rental car for the trip since we wanted to visit other parts of the island such as chalk sound (Las Brias Restaurant...highly recommend) and a horse back riding planned at the Provo Ponies which was located in Long Bay. We figured we would had paid as much if not more in the taxi fares if we didn't. I only had a few minor suggestions for the owner. I think the shower may need a shower liner. Also, a faster wifi/internet speed. I imagine the internet is a little more expensive on the island and most people are there to getaway from work. But I had to occasionally work while on the trip and the internet speed made it difficult. I had to connect through my phone and it was costly. The wifi was as fast as dial-up modems. Overall, we very much enjoyed our time at your condo and the resort. The owner was very responsive to all emails and calls. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone. I look forward to coming back next year.

All you require for Rest and Relaxation...

5 of 5
Arriving from the balmy Canadian weather, it was a very pleasant surprise to be cordially received by Dana and being thoroughly introduced to the property. It was exactly as described, with all the utilitarian amenities within the residence itself, on the grounds and surrounding area. Making reservations with Dana was exceptionally easy through VRBO. The residence includes a powder room immediately upon entry and a full kitchen (fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher and all kitchen utensils, etc.), dining and living room (with TV, DVD and WiFi) on the ground floor, with access to the screened-in outdoor patio and access to the well maintained grounds and pool surrounded by variety of lush plants, palm trees and flowers. There is also a gas BBQ available for use. The second floor has 2 large bedrooms. The first bedroom has 2 twin beds, a full bathtub with shower and a large walk-in closet. Moving towards the second bedroom in the corridor, there is a full-sized washer and dryer followed by a linen closet (with extra linens) with a safe securely fastened to the floor. The master bedroom is very large and spacious that include 2 large walk-in closets, a full bathroom with roman tub and separate shower. Both bedrooms are furnished with dressers for storage. It is meticulously maintained and a great place to call home while on vacation. Access to the beach is not more than a 5 minute walk through a straight path that leads directly to the beach. There is the main grocery store that is also only a 5 minute walk away. The "Grace Bay Gourmet" has not only groceries, wine and beer, it also has prepared meals that you can order. The townhome is located very conveniently within walking distance to fantastic restaurants, such as, Coco Bistro, Caicos Cafe and a great pub called Danny Buoys (which has daily evening activities, i.e. karaoke) and large screen TVs to catch a game. Its best to make reservations for the restaurants, but the pub is on a first come first serve basis. Access to other areas on the island are easily reached my just hailing down a cab on the main road (Grace Bay Road) or calling from the complimentary cellphone that is available for use to make local calls. I recommend staying here for the quality of the residence as well the location to the beach and surrounding amenities. I'll be sure to contact Dana for my next trip to TCI in the very near future. Thanks Dana and Scott.... Hope to see you soon!

Wow!

5 of 5
This condo is clean, spacious and beautiful! We enjoyed the screen porch, too. Essential supplies (paper towels, bathroom tissue, laundry detergent, etc.) to get us started were provided. We had plenty for our 6 night stay for 4 people. The location provides a great balance of available activities and solitude. Our group consisted of two mothers and their daughters (both in their 20's). The Grandview was well-laid out with patio furniture and a gazebo area with hammocks. The staff were also pleasant as they did yard work, etc. We enjoyed relaxing every on the most beautiful beach ever, using the lounge chairs and umbrellas. We looked forward to a couple who walked down the beach each day selling gelato. It was delicious! The "girls" used the SUP's and the bikes provided in the garage. We went on a half day snorkeling excursion with the company recommended by the owner- Island Vibes- (snorkeling on the reef, a visit to Iguana Island, and diving off the boat.) One evening we had a wonderful sunset cruise from Blue Haven Marina- you may want to have them check your names on the roster before you leave the marina, as we accidently went out on the wrong boat! Still, it was a memorable cruise! Our group snorkeled on our own at Coral Gardens and Smith Reef. At Coral Gardens there is a roped-off area. You will need to swim around the outside of the roped-off circle. If you have water shoes, wear them at Smith Reef due to the rocks and sea urchins. Good snorkeling at both spots. We had meals at Magnolia, Bay Bistro, Bella Luna, Hemingway's, Big Al's, Pelican Bay next door at The Royal West Indies, and the informal restaurant at Blue Haven Marina. All were very good. Magnolia was our all-time favorite. Magnolia is on a hillside looking out at the sunset and then the lights! The IGA Grocery store was well-stocked with name-brands, but expect high prices. We usually did breakfast and lunch at the condo and went out for dinner. We rented a car from Grace Bay Car Rentals at the airport. It took a little time to get acclimated to driving on the left hand side of the road and to using the roundabouts, but the rental car gave us the flexibility to travel around the island and made grocery shopping easier. What a memorable vacation!
