We returned yesterday from a week at this wonderful villa. We were there with two other couples who are dear friends, and we couldn't have been more pleased. From Sir Lumpy the cab driver meeting us at the airport (three different flights, two delayed) which was set up by the villa contact, to the rental car awaiting us at the ferry landing (set up by the villa contact), to Regine meeting us at the villa to give us an overview of amenities, to Regine answering e-mails about liquor stores, grocery stores, fresh seafood, ferry times, etc., everything was just fantastic. If there was a downfall, it was the dastardly mosquitos. We would be ok until around 5:00 p.m. and then the bugs would come out in force. We managed to ward them off as long as possible by staying in the pool until the last second when we'd run for the house. Of course, the bugs are no fault of the villa owners as they were extremely bad due to recent rain and flooding in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Take bug spray!!! They did have bug "coils" for our use though.
Be sure to leave a little time for sightseeing, as Mudjin Bay on Middle Caicos is a must-see. Beach glass, shelling, beautiful sandy beach, wonderful waves, and scenery beyond compare.
All six of us would love to return again and again to this beautiful villa, and we sure hope our wishes come true! We cooked in the extremely well-equipped kitchen, watched the Packers beat the Vikings on satellite tv, bobbed in the ocean, kayaked in the ocean with the villa kayaks, relaxed in the pool, slept in very comfortable beds in air conditioned rooms each with a private bathroom, and had the time of our lives. ENJOY PARADISE!!!!
