Breathtaking view

4 of 5
We arrived in the middle of the night and literally woke up in PARADISE. It's exactly as pictured but somehow seeing it in person just took our breath away. We really enjoyed our stay the villa, spent most of our days driving around the island exploring all the beautiful beaches and towns along the way. We were completely amazed at the facilities at most of the beaches and overall how clean Tobago was compared to other Caribbean islands we've visited. The Villa is basically a 1 room cabin with a large bathroom attached, a large bright shower. It was fully stocked with extra sheets and loads of towels and some basic supplies for cooking, all the appliances were modern and new. My hubby was quite happy to have such a firm bed for two weeks. We met some lovely people in Castara and one of the highlights was the fishing tour that we went on with Errol Roach, highly recommended, we caught dozens of fish and had some dolphins come and swim with the boat, truly the best part for me. We spent most of our evenings dining in Castara and enjoyed wonderful local meals even lucky enough to have caught a few shows with steel drums. We loved Marguarites, Chenno's, Boathouse and Almond tree. We stayed in a few nights to stargaze and cooked fresh fish from the beach from the local fishermen.... The only minor suggestion I have is that it would have been nice to have a BBQ or grill to cook on, we were surprised there wasn't one, but made do. Overall we loved our stay on the island, and felt safe on our own. The cabin is quite isolated although there are other houses on the hill we hardly ever saw anyone in our two weeks there. David was fabulous to deal with and we loved that they had a book full of suggestions and advice on things to see in the cabin, they even provided a cell phone for local calls while in Tobago, very thoughtful. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back one day. Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven on earth with us Nancy & Avtar
