Relaxing

5 of 5
The house is cute and very comfortable. It is located out of town so at night it's quiet and peaceful and you can see so many stars but a 30 min drive or less and you are in town. It is very relaxing and peaceful and the owners are very nice and helpful. We saw deer running in the yard next to the house. This will be a must future trips.

Thanksgiving stay

5 of 5
This property was very accommodating for our large group. Most everything needed for our stay was available. I would not hesitate to stay again. Just to experience the exquisite art work is worth the rent! Thanks Lynn.

Accommodated extended family beautifully

4 of 5
With my adult children and their small families coming to Amarillo to visit their super senior grandparents, this home was a great find! I wanted everyone to stay under one roof, since we are normally spread out coast to coast. We used the back porch as a bedroom with a queen-size air mattress (thankfully it was cool enough in early June for this), and had kids on air mattresses or port-a-cribs in every bedroom, but we slept 12 fairly comfortably. We danced in the living room to the piano, cooked in the kitchen (made lasagna for 40), played games in the dining area, entertained the super-seniors, chalked and tie-died in the back yard and blew bubbles in front! Simple pleasures. The house was just as advertised, the owners were exceptionally easy to work with and accommodating! I have recommended the house to several friends whose families will be visiting Amarillo. Property was very clean, the photos are accurate and amenities were as described. We went to Wonderland Amusement Park, ate at Rosa's, and would have taken a picnic to Palo Duro Canyon if time had allowed and it had not been so hot. The house was a cool haven!
