A great place to stay !

5 of 5
This is a great place to stay when you are visiting Amarillo, Texas. The owner Karen is wonderful. When we arrived from Europe, we arrived late in the evening but that was no problem for Karen. She waited for us to arrive and then she showed us her beautiful rental property. The house was really beautiful, very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Overall we had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The only thing we missed was Cable TV. When we got home early, after a nice day of culture or shopping, we would have liked and enjoyed a relaxing night on the couch, watching some nice programs on TV. I let Karen know this was the only thing we missed, anything else was perfect!

Perfect Weekend

5 of 5
The home was great. The owners went above and beyond to make everything easy for our stay. We had been cancelled at the last minute by another home owner so the ease of this transaction and quick response of owners was very welcome. The location is a little weird, but once you find the place it is perfect. The views and peace and quiet are worth the very short drive into Lubbock. We will stay here again next time we come to town for a game day weekend.

Accommodated extended family beautifully

4 of 5
With my adult children and their small families coming to Amarillo to visit their super senior grandparents, this home was a great find! I wanted everyone to stay under one roof, since we are normally spread out coast to coast. We used the back porch as a bedroom with a queen-size air mattress (thankfully it was cool enough in early June for this), and had kids on air mattresses or port-a-cribs in every bedroom, but we slept 12 fairly comfortably. We danced in the living room to the piano, cooked in the kitchen (made lasagna for 40), played games in the dining area, entertained the super-seniors, chalked and tie-died in the back yard and blew bubbles in front! Simple pleasures. The house was just as advertised, the owners were exceptionally easy to work with and accommodating! I have recommended the house to several friends whose families will be visiting Amarillo. Property was very clean, the photos are accurate and amenities were as described. We went to Wonderland Amusement Park, ate at Rosa's, and would have taken a picnic to Palo Duro Canyon if time had allowed and it had not been so hot. The house was a cool haven!
